Compatibility Mode, Performance Mode, and Proxy Mode

Performance Mode (available on both Android and iOS versions of the Insta360 app):

• Enabling Performance Mode will unlock all the features that were previously restricted due to insufficient performance. However, this may introduce risks such as app lags or crashes.

Proxy Mode (available only on the Android version of the Insta360 app):

• Once Proxy Mode is enabled, users can access the internet via mobile data while still being connected to the camera's WiFi.

Compatibility Mode (available only on the Android version of the Insta360 app):

• By enabling Compatibility Mode, issues such as green screens, evenly spaced green blocks, and tearing of color blocks during playback or exporting of content within the Insta360 app can be addressed. However, enabling Compatibility Mode may result in performance degradation, including risks like lags or crashes. Therefore, it is recommended to turn off Compatibility Mode when not required to avoid impacting the experience of other functions.

Note:

1. If enabling Compatibility Mode doesn't resolve the aforementioned display issues, it is necessary to collect the user's problem video and the APP diagnostic log. Ensure that the user turns off Compatibility Mode after collection.
2. Enabling Compatibility Mode will clear the cached data, and all cached materials will need to be reloaded.
